Chef-proprietor Chris Blaydes (Master Chef of Great Britain) has re-sited the renowned local restaurant 'Jerichos' into the Waverley, to become a restaurant with rooms.
Set in a beautiful, detached stone building circa 1870, situated on a quiet road in Windermere village with large private car park. The building retains many original features and is bursting with character. Jerichos now has a marvellous contemporary dining room creating a wonderful match of Victorian and modern styles within this beautiful building. Jerichos has been awarded 2AA rosettes in the AA's Restaurant Guide, and continues to be highly rated in The Good Food Guide, Harden's and Michelin. We have an extensive wine list and are passionate about our food and wine, a passion we hope to share with you. All our scrupulously clean bedrooms are ensuite, have colour television, tea and coffee making facilities. Some bedrooms can be twinned and contain either a standard double or a king size bed, furnished with clean crisp white linen. Breakfast is served in the contemporary restaurant and is, of course, cooked to order by Chris. We offer a wonderful warm welcome, high standards of care and the desire for you to visit us again.
The Waverley has an exceptional location for exploring the whole of the Lake District, whether by car, train, bus or on foot. We are 5 minutes from 2 bus stations and the rail station.
