We would like to welcome you to Beaumont House Guest House Windermere one of only a handful of Five Star Lake District Guest Accommodation.
Beaumont House is an elegant Victorian Stone Detached Property built in 1886 with many of its original features providing ten ensuite rooms ranging in sizes from our small cosy double to one of the larger superior four posters. All our rooms are individually decorated with the emphasis on calming and relaxing colour schemes; all have colour televisions (most with flat screen TVs and DVD Players) radio alarm clocks or I-pod docking station and radio alarm hairdryers and complimentary toiletries and those little essentials that can sometimes be forgotten when packing. Each room has a hospitality tray for tea and coffee. An iron and ironing board and trouser press are available on request for those rooms not already equipped with one. We are located in a quiet residential area close to the heart of Windermere village and a short stroll from the centre of Bowness and Lake Windermere - England's largest natural lake. Visitors come to the Lake District because of its unique ever-changing landscape; the beautiful lakes rivers mountains and picturesque Lakeland villages which have been the inspiration for poets writers and artists throughout the ages. Beaumont House is ideally situated and provides an excellent base from which to explore the Lake District. Whether you're looking for a quiet relaxing break or something a little more energetic sightseeing walking cycling sailing and water sports - they are all available from our doorstep!
From M6 exit Junction 36 and join A590591.Entering Windermere turn left following the town centre signs passing through the town's one way system.After the pedestrian traffic light crossing take the second left (Ellerthwaite Road) and then first left into Holly Road where The Beaumont's private car park is prominently signed on the right hand side.
